The third day of our cruise was spent in St. Thomas. This was the one place we had planned a shore excursion. We went sailed off of the island for awhile until we got to a cove and snorkeled for about 45 minutes….with sea turtles!!! It was so cool. There were dozens of them and they weren’t afraid of us. They were close enough to touch several times. (We weren’t allowed to though.) We do kind of wish the cruise ship was docked a bit longer on the island because there wasn’t time for us to do any exploring once we got back on land, but we were so glad we did the sail & snorkel. We loved it! We didn’t have a waterproof camera so no pictures.
