Day 2 -- California Adventure

---May 15---

Our second day in the parks was spent at California Adventure. Because we stayed in a Disneyland hotel we were able to get into the park an hour early (the "Extra Magic Hour" alternated every day between the two parks.) While all of the adults waited to get onto the Radiator Springs Racers ride, I did a few things with Logan. One good thing about being pregnant and not being able to go on a lot of the same rides that Logan couldn't go on was that I was able to do his fun rides with him while the other parents were waiting in lines. Kind of perfect! We had a lot of fun in California Adventure and felt like we were able to fit a lot of stuff in that day.

Aidan and Logan waiting to see Lightning McQueen. He talked and drove around and everything!

By the time it was our turn to take a picture Lightning had taken a break and Mater had taken his place. Logan was not happy about that. He wanted Lightning!

We don't have pictures, but we went on the Mater ride and Luigi's Flying Tires. Logan didn't like the Mater ride, it whipped him around a little too much. But the Luigi ride was super fun.

We went on the Mickey Ferris Wheel.

The fun Golden Zephyr ride we went on several times in a row....it did a bit too much spinning for Dad to join in.  :)

Phineas and Ferb serenaded us. It excited me a lot more than it did Logan (I love that show!)

We rode this ride the most out of any other. The Little Mermaid. There was never a wait and we all loved it.

He thought he was pretty funny and cool with his glasses like this.

We went to the Disney Junior show. It had life size puppets of Mickey and all of his friends along with characters from the other Disney Junior shows: Sophia the First, Doc McStuffins and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Logan thought it was pretty cool.

We made our way over to Bug's Land. Logan loved the caterpillar ride.

Bumper cars!

Flik's Flyers. Again, too spinny for Dad. He doesn't look like he's loving it too much, but I promise, he did.

So happy to be with Grandma and Grandpa! We went on the Monster's Inc. ride with them.

And then we made our way to the Wilderness Explorer Area. Logan loved walking on the ropes and climbing through tunnels and going down the slides. It was nice to let him wander around and do whatever he wanted for a little bit.

So cute! Logan and Leah getting ready to race down the slide. (Everything's a competition with him.)

Time to wind down!

Something we did that we don't have any pictures of was enjoy a DELICIOUS dinner at The Blue Bayou (you know when you see people eating during the Pirates of the Caribbean ride? That place.) with the Rowlands and Griffiths. The service was SLOW but the food and company were great. We were so grateful to Grandma and Grandpa for watching the kids while we enjoyed the few hours of adult time. Thank you!
