After-Christmas California Visit

The day after Christmas we flew out to California so Logan could FINALLY spend some time and get to know the Bell family. I've been so excited to go there so they could get experience Logan's happy and fun personality, especially since the last time his Grandma and Grandpa saw him he was still going through his colicky stage. Here are just a few highlights from the visit.

Logan and Aidan fighting for Grandpa’s attention. Aidan had a hard time having to share his “Papa”.

Luckily, Logan wasn’t afraid of the dogs. In fact, he loved them.IMG_1627

And he wasn’t afraid of the cats either…but they were afraid of him. We had to hold them down so he could pet them. There is another cat who refused to come out to the front because Logan was there. It was hilarious because Logan would try to chase them down.

Logan and Grandpa. It seems there is a special connection between little boys and their grandpas.

I think I might have a struggle when he’s older explaining to him that he will NEVER have a dog.IMG_1677
Sadly, the only picture with Uncle Corey and Aunt Yoli.IMG_3650
Playing with just a few of Jeremy’s many stuffed monkeys.IMG_3792

Aidan is so hilarious when life isn’t going his way. He’ll hang his head and slump his shoulders. He didn’t want to share with Logan, even though this toy scared him until Logan decided he wanted to play with it. At least Logan’s trying to share! This was Logan’s favorite thing to play with the whole week.IMG_3654
We visited the Natural Bridges in Santa Cruz. There are some beautiful Tide Pools there as well. It was luckily a beautiful and sunny day.

We went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. It was cold and rainy all day. But we were there for a few hours and Logan loved the train ride.

We dressed Logan and it turns out Grandpa had a matching shirt, so he went and changed. Aren’t they cute?IMG_3828
A visit to Monterey Bay Aquarium, which he loved.IMG_1747IMG_3840IMG_1750IMG_3874IMG_3908IMG_3917
Jeremy’s mom told us to “make out in the elevator.” Awkward…a little.

Lots of love to Grandma and Grandpa.IMG_3927

We also played lots of games, went to True Grit, Logan got sick, ate out a couple of times, enjoyed some yummy homemade dinners, played some Rock Band, and just enjoyed our time away from life. Thanks for a great week!
